Over the last few months, Hempitecture has undertaken a number of steps to provide transparency within our financials and our documentation required for submitting the Form C. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Form C:
The Form C is the document that details the Reg CF offering. Think of the Form C as a tool for potential investors to evaluate and study the offering. Investors need to understand the background of your company, the risks that come along with investing in your company, and how you plan to use the money you raise.”
Leading up to the submission of our Form C, we have undertaken a comprehensive financial audit. Unfortunately, due to a personal health issue, our lead Auditor has had to forgo continuing the audit. First and foremost, our thoughts are with our Auditor and his family during this difficult time.
Secondly, while this is a disappointing development for us as it imposes a time setback on closing our round, we have hired a new Auditing firm and work has resumed. This unexpected delay means that we are still weeks away from submitting our Form C. We ask that you stay connected with our ongoing campaign and keep an eye out for updates.
Once our Form C is submitted, you will have a chance to review our financials and confirm your investment. If you have not already placed your commitment in escrow, you will be able to do so at this time.
