This event brought together Finger Lakes residents, students from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, and even attendees from as far as Michigan and Virginia. Covered were the basics of hempcrete mixing and installation as well as a robust panel discussion including upstate NY hemp advocate Zack Sarkis and Dr. Alan Taylor of Cornell University AgriTech. Northwest Green Building Slam - October 26 - University of Washington
Hempitecture will be attending the Northwest Green Building Slam and has been selected to present our systems approach to hempcrete construction alongside 9 other "innovative, sustainable, high-performance green buildings that push the envelope in our built environment". We are honored to be presenting our hard work in front of an audience of over 400 attendees including architects, builders, homeowners, energy efficiency experts, and real estate professionals.
